Students can access the NEEA website (http://cet.neea.edu.cn/cet) to check the result, usually two months after the examination. Report collection will be notified separately by email.

Students can apply for their own grade certificates by visiting the CET4/6 website (http://cet.neea.edu.cn/). The grade certificate has the same validity as the CET transcript.

Final exam results are usually posted on the Student Information System (SIS) in one and a half or two months after the exams are completed.

Students who have a query on the grade given for any courses should consult the teacher(s) and schools concerned within two weeks after the release of academic results. If you have reasons to believe that a procedural error has been made in the marking process, while no conclusion is reached after communicating with the instructor and the course offering school, you may download a complaint form from Registry Office website, complete it and forward an appeal to the University.

According to the assessment scheme of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, an OBA (outcome-based approach) method is being adopted in determining the course grade. Teachers are required to announce the marking criteria to all students in the beginning of the course.

The are three types of GPA: Cumulative GPA, Term GPA, Major GPA.

The grade point average (GPA) is computed from the converted points as weighted by the number of units of each course attempted, inclusive of courses failed. Please refer to Clause 9.2 of General Regulations Governing Undergraduate Studies for more details about the converted points table.

Cumulative GPA: The sum of the converted points of the grades for each course multiplied by the number of credits, divided by the total number of credits taken.

Term GPA: The sum of the converted points of grades multiplied by the credits for each course in the term, divided by the total number of credits taken in the term.

Major GPA: The sum of the converted points of grades in the major courses multiplied by the number of credits, divided by the total number of credits taken in the major courses, as determined by the School Board.

All grades for repeat courses will count towards your GPA (except for courses with a distinction/pass/fail grading basis) and will all be shown on your transcript as normal as all other courses.

If you do not carry a valid ID during the examination period, you must come to the Registry Office for verification during the examination week (with your valid ID and the Student Without Valid Student ID Card Form); after the examination week, students who have not yet been verified must go to the course offering school for verification as soon as possible.
