Suspension of Studies
(Applicable to student who will participate in the Student Exchange/Visiting Programme)
1) Please note Clause 3.0 and Clause 8.0 of the General Regulations Governing Undergraduate Studies.
2) Summer sessions will not be counted when the suspension period of application is calculated.
3) This application must be accompanied by a copy of the admission letter from the host university concerned. If the letter is not yet available, student should submit the copy to the Registry Office once he/she receives the letter.
4) If the application for suspension is approved and you cancel the exchange/visiting programme afterward, please apply for resumption of studies with the confirmation letter from OAL or School Office.
5) No student shall be assessed for graduation and recommended for the award of a degree unless s/he shall have attended CUHK(SZ) for at least two years.
6) This application is not applicable to the cases that the programme is applied by applicantself directly from the host university.
7) Students shall check out of the hostel and remove all personal belongings within 3 days once the application for suspension of studies is approved. If students failed to do so, their personal items left in their rooms shall be deemed abandoned and will be disposed without further notice. The College disclaims any liability for the loss or damage of these items.
