General Arrangements for Classes and Examinations on Approach of Typhoons and Rainstorms (also applicable to Postgraduate Students)

 

  1. Suspension of Classes
  1. If the local Typhoon Warning Signal YELLOW/ORANGE/RED, or the RED Rainstorm Signal is issued at the following hours for the entire Long Gang District or specifically for the Long Cheng Street (in the Long Gang District, Shenzhen), all classes, including onsite and online classes, will be suspended as below:

from 6:00 p.m. onward

 

  1. If the local Typhoon Warning Signal YELLOW/ORANGE/RED, or the RED Rainstorm Signal is issued during a class period, all classes, including onsite and online classes, will be suspended immediately. When the above-mentioned weather signal(s) is still in force, students are advised to take shelter in a safe place until the weather and traffic conditions have improved.

 

  1. Course teachers concerned should arrange make-up class when the class has been suspended due to weather conditions.

  1. The arrangements for centralized course examinations will be as follows:

  1. Arrangements of examination postponement:
  1. Details of postponement for centralized examinations of undergraduate courses will be announced via email from the Registry Office.
  2. For examinations (undergraduate or postgraduate courses) which are conducted by individual teaching staff, details of postponement will be announced by the teaching staff/ course offering school concerned.
